Moonstone is a name for microline or orthoclase with a specific pearly blue or white luster. The name is very popular in the gemstone industry and is therefore often incorrectly used for many feldspars and sometimes other minerals as well. This white moonstone comes from Tanzania and you can't see the shine in the rough pieces or not well. When the copies are cut (which I did) you will see this white pearl shine.
