Sodalite
Sodalite is a Chlorine-containing Sodium-Aluminium-Silicate from the Sodalite group. The color can vary from white to pink to gray, but the most common and well-known color of the mineral is blue. The name is derived from the common sodium which means sodium, and indeed sodium is an important element in sodalite. Sodalite forms poor igneous and metamorphic rocks in silica.
