Siphonia - Sponges
Siphonia is a genus of fossil sponges that lived against the upper cretaceous in the western Tethys ocean. This ocean was distributed in a area that is know the mediteranian. It also covered a piece of south Europe and north Africa. All Siphonia species had a pear like shapes and where atached to the seabothom with a thick stam.
