Dendrophyllia candelabrum
Dendrophyllia candelabrum is a type of fossil coral from the family Dendrophyllidae. They are very distinctive corals that can form large clusters and a tangle of branches. Fossil specimens of D. candelabrum are found in Faxe, Denmark, among others. The twigs that come from here consist of the mineral aragonite and are bright white to dirty yellow.
