Baltic Amber

The word amber is translated from the German Bernstein where it derives from the word Börnen which literally means to burn. The English name for amber is Amber. Baltic amber comes from the Baltic Sea and is found along many coasts, for example Poland, and it rarely drifts towards the Netherlands. It has long been debated what amber actually is? They eventually found out that it is the fossil resin of conifers.
