These pyrite ammonites come from the Aptian, Cretaceous of the town of Carniol, France. It contains a lot of species, but the vast majority of what you can expect consists of Phylloceras and Aconoceras ammonites. However, you do not have to exclude the genera Dufrneoyia, Cheloniceras, Hamites and Toxoceratoides as a possibility. In some specimens pyrite crystals have grown on the ammonite. In other words, with 100 pieces, you always have a very diverse amount of ammonites. And this is ideal for both the seller and the collector.
