Gypsum
The mineral Gypsum is a calcium phosphate CaSO4 that is usually white to white-yellow or translucent. Gypsum is a mineral that has many applications in induction;  as a fertilizer, among other things. But also as a filler in toothpaste and paint. It is also used in school crayons, casting clay (ceramics), toilet bowls and as a soil improver. So it is a versatile mineral and with a hardness of 2 (By definition) it is also a very soft mineral. The fracture is shell-shaped, the crystal system is monoclinic and the cleavage is good.
