Emerald
Emerald is the green version of the mineral beryl. One of the most prized gemstones since ancient times. Emerald often has large cracks in fractures and is therefore difficult to process as a gemstone. And as with other gemstones money, the purer the stone, the higher the financial value. The color can vary from light to poison and emerald green but the stripe color is always white. These colors come from inclusions of vanadium and chromium. Its chemical formula is Al2Be3Si6O18, making it a syclosilicate. The name probably comes from the Semitic language, but its meaning is difficult to retrieve. In ancient Greece, the term emerald was used for all green gemstones!
