The genus Echinocorys is a genus of fossil sea urchins in the family Holasteridae. These sea urchins occurred from the Cretaceous to the Paleocene. Fossils have been found in Europe, Asia and North America. This specimen comes from Höver, Hanover in Germany and although the shell is very nicely preserved, the sea urchin is considerably crushed.
