Dyed Agate
This is one of the classic counterfeit / crafted minerals, the faded agates from Brazil. The colors are almost always too "beautiful" to be true, bright pink, deep blue or bright green. Although agates do exist in very distinct colors, these are the "real" fakes. The original agates were probably dull gray in color, so one gets more profit from dyeing the agates by means of a certain process. Often they "forget" to mention that the colors are artificially obtained, or it is sold as "Natural Crystal" which of course is not true.
