Rhodonite
The alternating black with pink/red rhodonite is a mineral from the rhodonite group. Rhodonite has the chemical formula CaMn3Mn[Si5O15] and is therefore a Magaan iron magnesium calcium silicate. The name comes from the Greek word rhodon which refers to the color pink. Transparent rhodonite does exist, but this is very rare in contrast to the regular variant.
