Citrine is the lemon yellow to deep orange variant of quartz. The name Citrine comes from the Citrus which of course refers to the yellow color. However, citrine is very rare, although it is widely available on the market. This is because amethyst is often burned, so you get an orange color in the amethyst and they can sell it as citrine.
