Toletanaspis

The genus Toletanaspis is a genus of trilobites from the order Phacopida. Specimens are known from the Paleozoic to the middle Ordovician. This specimen comes from the early Ordovician, the Fezouata formation in Morocco. This location is well known and has a lot in common with the much more famous Burgers shale founa in the Canadian rocky mountains. However, these trilobites are also becoming rarer, the location Zagora, Morocco, where this specimen comes from, has now been closed. And if you can Tstill find a copy in the market, nowadays they often go out for very high prices. So this is the chance to add a nice Toletanaspis to your collection for a not too high price.
