The region around the German Steinhart is known for its "Steinhardt peas" owfel concretions of baritized sandstone. These originated in the Oligocene about 30 million years ago. Around various plant remains, including these pieces of fossil wood. Very rare finds in these concretions are shark teeth, but unfortunately these are not found in these specimens.
