This is a remarkable/unusual piece of fossil. It's vomit from a primitive shark species from the Devonian. The specimen was found in Turin Hill located in Angus, Scotland. The photo is quite magnified and it's hard to see, but one spot is slightly darker than the surrounding matrix.
