Creniceras

The genus Creniceras is a genus of ammonites belonging to the family Oppellidae. Creniceras was probably a fast-moving predatory ammonite that only occurred during the Jurassic period. The ammonites are quite flat and have a row of characteristic knob-shaped spines at the top.
