These pieces of conglomerate were found in Mill, Noord-Brabant, The Netherlands on January 2021. The pieces of conglomerate consist for the most part of quartz, but between the joints of the rock is a lot of hematite, which gives the stone a slightly red / purplish appearance . Conglomerate is a rock that consists of other rocks that have cemented together. In conglomerate, the pieces of rocks that you see are always rounded, when that is not the case, the stone is called a breccia. The cabochon is cut by hand by me and therefore not quite perfect.
