Black Opal - Freeform
An Australian Opal is called black opal when the base color of the potsh (colorless opal) is black. And that is the case with this freeform cabochon. The colors are slightly less bright than in the photo, because I had to photograph it from above with flash. The deep blue colors are mainly on the side, at the top there is a slightly lighter potsh through the whole.
