Ajkaite - Amber
Ajkaite is a type of amber that is only found in the light town of Ajka in Hungary. Ajkaite is a fairly rare amber, but can be found in quite large pieces. Usually, however, the orange amber pieces are very small, as is the case here. This amber is deposited in the Senoon one floor within the chalk, and is in layers of brown-grey lignite. In addition to the orange dots of amber, this lignite also has white pieces in it. These white pieces are pieces of plants, but they are too small to recognize plants from them.
